Nancy & Cesar Cortez | Commission to Every Nation | South America

Cesar and Nancy have been ministering in South America since 1995 building water community systems and training Bible teachers and pastors. They are uniquely prepared for the ministry to which God has called them. Cesar has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering as well as a Masters Degree in both Theology and Divinity and Nancy is a teacher.

Using their giftings, they have worked in various countries throughout Latin America. This includes Ecuador, Cuba, Haiti, Colombia, Brazil and Peru. In these areas, they help to provide drinking water and sanitation systems. This helps to improve the holistic wellbeing of areas, as access to water has implications for health and wellbeing. In addition to this work, they also work to equip church leaders. Many church leaders in this region pastor congregations without any formal training. Cesar and Nancy equip these pastors with books, resource materials, practical workshops and seminars. They train pastors in Theology, church administration, preaching, discipleship, Bible study and counseling. They have also implemented christian education workshops which use an active learning approach, meaning students learn by doing.
