Jose Miguel and Heather Hernandez Farrell | Commission to Every Nation | Honduras

Heather and Jose Miguel serve in the rural, mountainous town of La Unión, Lempira, Honduras. Their ministry, called Enliven, focuses on encouraging and equipping others to serve God. Their desire is for youth, adults, and church leaders to have the resources they need to grow in the knowledge of God and His Word and share it with others. They provide Bible instruction and in-depth studies, support local pastors and churches, and teach musical instruments and worship classes. They also address physical needs in the community through a mobile medical clinic and aid projects for those with limited resources.

Their ministry activities include:

  • youth gatherings and Bible study groups
  • music and instrument lessons
  • praise team
  • short-term trips with church partners  
  • a local medical clinic ministry

Heather and Jose Miguel have served in La Unión since they were married in 2018, with their son joining the family in 2019. Jose Miguel is originally from Tegucigalpa, and Heather has lived in La Unión since 2011.
